This workshop brings together young researchers in the field of Cryptography and Information Security to help them to promote their research. An additional aim is to raise awareness among participants on gender-equality, to present the outcome of relevant social studies on the topic, and to discuss possible measures for improving the current situation.

Invited keynote speakers:

  • Sonia Belaïd, CryptoExperts

Participants are kindly invited to give a 20-minute presentation on their current or past work, but this is not a requirement for participation.

Applications for a talk have to be sent to www-crossfyre20 (at) science.ru.nl before March 6 in the form of a 1-page abstract, in PDF format, outlining the content of the presentation. The organizers will review all submissions and notify the selected speakers until March 16.

All researchers are encouraged to join the event regardless of their gender. Undergraduate students are welcome to this workshop, and strongly supervisors are encouraged to support their students’ active or passive participation. There is a number of stipends available for participants who will otherwise have trouble to attend. If you are in need of funding, do not hesitate to contact the organizers.
